Beautiful baby boy born at home in water to this sweet woman and her family. This family is so special to me. I was her moms midwife for her last two babies, her brothers midwife for his first baby just a couple months ago, and her aunts midwife for a baby several years ago. So grateful I was able to share in her first home birth experience. They did beautifully and this cute boy weighed in at 8 lbs 4 oz.
This sweet first time family welcomed their son in a fast a furious way. Mama caught her 7 lbs 15 oz baby in water into her own hands. She persisted throughout labor and never once doubted if she could do it. So proud of this sweet Osos family.

This sweet mama birthed her baby at home next to the bed with dad and big brother present. We tried to set up the birth tub but labor happened so quickly that we didn’t have time to fill it all the way. Big brother ended up using it as a pool while mama and daddy bonded to the new baby. This sweet woman and her husband planned an unassisted birth until she was 8 months pregnant. She then decided to have a midwife just because it was her first around. She labored for less than 2 hours and then called me to say her water had broke and she felt like she had to push. Baby was born just 12 minutes labor in the shower into her daddy’s hands, while I was on my way. Baby weighed 7 lbs 14 oz. Welcome beautiful baby girl!

It was especially fun to help this repeat family welcome their second son into the world. I helped them with their first 3 years ago and this time around big brother got to be there to witness his baby brother being born.
